Education and LGBTQ students

Being a kid is already hard when it comes to homework, classwork, some teachers, and being bullied. But the students who are in the LGBTQ community has a harder time. Even kids in special education could also be in the LGBTQ  community. I want to be a teacher that my student can feel like they can come to me and talk to me about anything!

I only knew that they added the IA to LGBTQ but I found this picture that also include PD which I guess makes sense if they really want to include everyone.

These are the different flags for the different sexual orientation and gender identity. Also the only flag that isn't shown here is the hetosexual flag which is black and white.

This is what some teachers would have on their door. The only problem is not all teachers with this would do anything when they witness someone being bullied for being gay or transgender or won't do anything when the student is having a hard time coming out. When I am a teacher I would have this on my door and any student not just mine can come up to me and I'll help with whatever problem they have in school when it comes to being in the LGBTQ community and not just homework or classwork help.
