Homeless students

Believe it or not there are students who are homeless in elementary school, Middle school, High School, and even college. Profitey happens when their family can afford much and they try whatever it takes to go to school and get an education. My Friend from MASSPIRG is homeless and she wants to stay in this country to get an education. She was kicked out from her host familybecause of her religion. Now she is been getting up by another family and the hunger and homeless campaign at MASSPIRG are helping her sell her scurfs so she can make money to stay here.

This is sad and we should do what we can to help our fellow students. The State of Florida has one of the largest population of homeless children and youth and on a 2015 report 71,446 students were identify as homeless during the 3013-2014 school year. More than 1.6 million children living in the United States are homeless (Institute for Children Poverty and Homelessness, 2014) and over 16 million live below the poverty line.

These numbers are scary. In 1987 president Ronald Reagon signed The Homeless Assistance Act for homeless students to have access to a free education. This still give these students challenges to be able to do well in school expressionly if they are oing to be living in cars.

This is another inspiration movie based on a book on her life story about when she was homeless and how she went to Harvard University. I came from Worcester Tech and Liz actually came to my school as a guess speaker and telling us her experiences. After her talk me and a couple of others went to meet her and gave her an interview.
